Who qualifies for foster child grant?

To qualify:

  1. The foster parent must be a South African citizen, permanent resident or refugee
  2. The foster parent and the child must live in South Africa
  3. The foster child must be legally placed in the custody of the foster parent’s care and the child must remain in the care of the foster parent.
  4. The child must be younger than 18.
